WEDNESDAY WEEKLY WISHLIST #5 - GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD TREATMENT

• After trying numerous face mask they all seem to claim to do things yet they don't live up to what they say. After seeing numerous people trying this mask I'am intrigued to give it a try sadly the price tag isn't one of those try it and hate it kind of products.
  On Glamglow website it says to 'Apply a Thin Layer to Clean Skin. Leave on for 5 - 20 minutes & Remove with Water. Use as a Full Face Mask or Spot Treatment as often as needed'.

FIRST IMPRESSION - MAC BLOT POWDER PRESSED

Today I'am first impression-ing the blot powder pressed by MAC

First of all, I've been wanting to try this blot powder for ages! But just thought it was a gimmick as most company's have powders that say that there shine proof and keep oil at bay and which stay on for hours.

BUT this product is so different it actually does keep your makeup on all day MAC claims that it is a  'unique pressed powder designed primarily to provide shine control without adding any noticeable colour or texture. Sets foundation, finishes faces. For use in professional situations and for frequent touch-ups. Blot Powder contains Mica and Silica to absorb excess oils and reduce shine on the skin's surface'. One thing I'am scared about is the mica and silica praying that theses don't break me out.

I applied this over my colorstay foundation at 8:30am, I can see myself using this product quite quickly as I don't know how much I'am applying because it's more like a trancluet powder than anything like a mineralized skinfinish natural.

Through out the day (I'am a hairdresser) at work, I would check my makeup making sure it was still in place and it was! Once I got home 5:30pm I looked again, normally by this time whilst wearing Mineralise skinfinish my nose would be oily as, but today it was defiantly there was literally NO OIL! At around 6:30 I checked again as I was going out, I decided to reapply at this stage, slight oil was coming through could have gone with out re-applying but I did.

Once thing I did notice when coming home 9:30 there was still no oil, but did look a little cakey on the face. I'am Really excited to use this on my 12 hour shift see how it holds up!

OVERALL: This product doesn't get the hype it deserves, this could seriously be my new holy grail, but I'am gonna give a couple weeks and give another review.

Wednesday Weekly Wishlist #4 - TRAVEL EDITION

If you Follow me on instagram hint go follow me, you would know that in November my boyfriend and I are off to Bali for my birthday Yaya, now ive never been to Bali but I know that most of the time its very hot and humid so I'am going to try and take minimal make up as possible.

Below are some products which are available in travel size, which I'am still deciding on which of the following I want to purchase but here are some ideas.

I'am planning on getting a tan before I go, Basically because I don't want to arrive in Bali white or pale as. But because when fake tanning my face fades quicker than my body so I'am hoping that when applying bronzer creme or tanner will help stop that, once again, not to sure on which is going be suitable for what I want.

Love this bronze so much, but because the full size is quite bulky the travel size should be great!

I haven't tried this Mascara before, but it's between this one or Too faced better than sex because that also comes in a travel size, but we shall have to see which is better, also thinking about buying maybe a waterproof one or wearing clear gel.

Really undecided about if I'am going to take I'am looking for a matte coverage and something that keeps the oil at bay, so I'am deciding on a BB cream, tinted moisturizer (I feel the Estee lauder, is an inbetween of a foundation and tint moisturizer)

Face wipes is a must a think because its going to be oily and theses will be good to help tone my skin and keep it fresh also.

Love this foundation primer, so I'am so relieved it came in a cute travel size, so defies purchasing this

Also think that blotting powder is a must for the holiday haven't tried one before so I'am excited to see how it goes, hopefully keep my makeup on all day.

Some travel products are on their way so I'am excited about that and give you a haul 

Update on my Spending ban - #1

If you have read my previous post about my Spending ban (click here if not read)
You know all about my rules as to what I can and can't purchase.

I have purchased a couple of repurchases and one purchase that wasn't really a must have, but other than that I think I have done very well.

Sadly, I actually haven't been saving any money because I've been having to pay off bills :(

Hopefully now that most of my bills are paid off, I'll be able to start saving more money for my holiday.

If you have read my last post on my spending ban then you would know that I wanted to buy my vanity and my sigma brush kit.

I have decided not to worry, just yet about the vanity till everything is done for my holiday and that everything is paid for that I need for the holiday.
As for the sigma brush kit, I'll perhaps end up buying them as I have wanted them for ages (Maybe for a birthday present) But they would be great to take on holidays with also.

Wednesday Weekly Wishlist - #3 SEPHORA WISHLIST!

Sorry I didn't post last weeks Wednesday Weekly Wishlist here it is!

My Grandparents are off to America next week and as lovely grandparents as they are, they always go to Sephora to buy a bunch of stuff. 

The list Above is the majority of the things am going to ask to buy, as I shall be paying for half I didn't want it to make it too expensive (but probably make an order later on in the year with shipit).

One of the things I want is actually out of stock online so I can't actually show you, but they are all mini summer essentials for when I go away and same with the smaller urban decay. 

The rest are things ive wanted to try for ages or have tried and are repurchases.

Looking at this list really doesn't look like much, but the price says otherwise.

Review: True Match Foundation by Loreal

Today I'am reviewing the True Match Loreal - W1

First of all when I look for a foundation to buy I base the pick on theses 3 things: How long it last, How well it covers my face and How quickly it shows my oily skin coming through.

I'am so disappointed in this foundation, and after hearing such amazing things about it and people saying it's there new holy grail foundation and so on I had such high hopes:(

Many people said this was a medium to full coverage foundation, on their website it states  "True Match Super-Blendable Makeup precisely matches your skin’s tone and texture and coordinates perfectly formulated with Precise Match Technology so you can control the coverage and fine-tune it. Ultra-pure formula contains no oils, fragrances, or pore-clogging fillers, so all you see is beautiful, radiant, flawless skin"

First Reason why I dislike like this foundation, As soon as I put two pumps on my beauty blender I knew by the Watery texture of the foundation it was not going to go down well ha-ha, I normally use a very thick consistency foundation Revlon colorstay which is one of my holy grail foundations, but I'am always trying to find a foundation that is better.

I work all day and, mostly long hours and sometimes it can be sweaty so I need a foundation that can keep up with that. THIS TRANSFERS LIKE NO OTHER FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER TRIED!

Like my nose was itchy so I rubbed it nek minute all the makeup was on my hand and there was no makeup left on my nose. Now it's not like I don't set my makeup, I feel like this has more of a tinted moisturizer kind of formula.

The first Picture is just applied looking all nice, the second picture is after a few mins and rubbed into the skin, As you can it has grabbed to my fine lines and gone all weird to be honest I can explain it but it just doesn't sit to well on my skin.

Thirdly, I've had a couple of people talk to me on my instagram about the color selection they have, and how there isn't much to choose from, Personally I think they cater more to yellow tone skin tones then pinky skin tones which can make people look quite pastey.

Overall: Main reason I don't like this, Doesn't stay on my face long enough and isn't full coverage enough for me.

These are my opinions and if you're deciding between this foundation, its best just to give it a shot or try to get a sample because they're lost of mixed reviews about it.

Would I recommend this to a friend? Maybe a worst enemy, haha jokes BUT DEFAINTLY NOT!

I give this 1 Beautyfordayz love heart, isn't even worth the one love heart for an everyday foundation but it does have a chance of being a tinted moisturizer and I don't want to bash it just because it isn't want I'am looking for a lot of people love this foundation.
